Vattenlek (Waterplay) at Plantaget - Anders Jönsson.

In December 1956, Åmåls Kaféaktiebolag once again donated a sum of money, SEK 50,000, to the city to be used for the purchase of a work of art to be placed in Plantaget.

The sculptor Anders Jönsson from Stockholm created the work. The sculpture depicted a girl, cast in bronze, who was made to turn by means of an electric motor and ball bearings. Bronze fish were cast into the bottom of the pool.

Originally located in the middle of Plantaget, the artwork was designed as a fountain, with the girl slowly spinning and water spurting from a vessel in one hand, as well as from the mouths of the fish.
