The concrete teddy bear outside the library is made by iron and steel student Lill Lindblom from Stenebyskolan 2014.

The teddy bear is fairly simple in its execution, but behind the work lies a long and difficult process. It all started when a man was shot outside the window of her daughter's apartment. After that, the artist says, she felt unsafe in her own home. The hope is that the sculpture will spark a discussion.

The teddy bear is not owned by Åmål municipality.
