Eva - Carl Eldh.
In 1950, Åmål's Kaféaktiebolag donated an amount of SEK 10,000 for an art piece in the Plantaget park.

In December 1951, Åmåls Kaféaktiebolag bought the artwork "Eva" from Professor Carl Eldh in Stockholm, in consultation with representatives of the Drätselkammaren and the Park Board.

The intention was to place the artwork in a suitable location by a mirror pond in Plantaget. Architect Martin Krook was commissioned to provide input on the placement of the artwork.

The well surround was made by Granit AB Kullgren's widow in Uddevalla. The artwork was inaugurated in 1953.

The sculpture has replicas in Västerås and Karlskoga.
